USB Toy: Mini Cooper USB Drive

If you think that using the iTwin USB Gadget is not the kind of USB storage device or USB drive you are looking for, then maybe you will find this post on the Mini Cooper USB drive interesting for you. Seemingly like a real USB Toy, this Mini Cooper USB drive has rotatable wheels, and illuminating headlights! This happens when the Mini Cooper USB device is plugged into the USB port of a computer, and like all other USB powered toys, the USB port gives the Mini Cooper USB gadget its power and lights up the headlights! Simply fantastic!
Anyways, it is strange that this cool computer USB toy actually originates from Japan. It is this Japanese company known as Green House and this is their latest USB Thumbdrive. This USB device is based on the 1959 British Mini Cooper, which is why I say it is strange that such a design actually came from a Japanese company, since the Mini Cooper actually came from the United Kingdom and is a British car. The Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive is available in two different designs, one with the British flag on the roof of the mini cooper and the other is what I presume to be the 1963 Austin Mini Cooper S. The Mini Cooper USB drive features 4GB of memory. That is really a lot of storage space! To sum up, this Mini Cooper USB drive is the perfect gift for every Mini Cooper's fan!
The below diagram shows the beautiful Mini Cooper USB thumb drive. The Green House website is also included in the link below. This Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive costs ¥10,000 (that is the Japanese Yen for you and in US$ that would be more than US$100 expensive price for a posh nice mini cooper car I believe!)

Let me provide some background on the Mini Cooper here. The Mini Cooper is actually a style of the Mini, which is a small car produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC). The Mini was later manufactured by BMW. It is in some ways considered the British equivalent to its German contemporary, the Volkswagen Beetle, also another classic car which enjoyed similar popularity in North America. The name Mini did not appear by itself immediately — the first models were marketed under two of BMC's brand names, Austin and Morris. The Minis were then known as the Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor, until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969.

Anyways, the Mini, with its distinctive two-door design was created by Sir Alec Issigonis of BMC. Issigonis had a friend by the name of John Cooper, who was the owner of the Cooper Car Company and a designer and builder of Formula One and rally cars. He felt that Mini had potential for racing competitions. In the end, they both collaborated together to create the Mini Cooper, which was a small nimble, economical and inexpensive car. The Austin Mini Cooper and Morris Mini Cooper debuted in 1961. A more powerful Mini Cooper, dubbed the Mini Cooper "S", was developed and released in 1963. The above Mini Cooper USB drive is actually a commemoration of the Mini Cooper.

And that is a short history of the Mini Cooper, and hopefully it makes you want to own the USB Toy Mini Cooper USB Thumbdrive Device more. Haha ok thats all for now. Tune in next time to USB Toys for yes, you guessed it for more USB Toys!
