USB Toy: 1GB Light Bulb USB Drive
In my previous post, I have introduced to my USB Toys readers a cool Mini Cooper USB drive which could store 4GB of data. For this post, I introduce to you a 1GB Light Bulb USB drive. Yes, it can pack less data, but still it is another very cute and special USB drive. Some time ago, I introduced the USB Toy Humping Beagle. Though this Light Bulb USB drive is not as cool or funny as the USB Toy Humping Beagle, this 1GB Light Bulb USB drive can also be used as a good gift to your good friends or perhaps someone that you find intelligent!
As usual, this unique cool USB thumbdrive is plug and play supported and is compliant with USB 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.0. The transfer rate is up to 8Mbit per second at high speed but this will depend on your PC configuration. The 1GB Light Bulb USB drive supposedly has at least 10 years of data retention with 1,000,000 times storage and support Mac, Windows ME, 2000, XP and Vista Operating System platforms. If you are quite a regular fan of my USB Toy blog, you would have realised that other than the many cool USB toys that I have introduced, I am now also doing posts on cool USB drives, one of which was the Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive. With such cool USB drives to purchase, why do you even bother to carry around and use those normal looking, dull and boring USB drives anymore? By spending just a little money to make your thumbdrives look good, you can be a trendsetter. With this 1GB Light Bulb USB drive, that even light bulb inventor Thomas Alva Edison (if you do not know already Thomas Alva Edison invented the electric light bulb in 1879) would approve of, you just have to buy one to amaze your friends. It would serve as a great gift for someone with a bright idea! One thing which I find is a pity is that this 1GB Light Bulb USB drive does not light up when it is inserted into the USB port. Maybe the makers can think about this suggestion. You should know that without Thomas Edison, there would not have been a light bulb, which has changed our lives greatly by illuminating the night and allowing people to make use of the night time, making it hospitable to a wide range of human activity (as well as making this 1GB Light Bulb USB thumbdrive a reality). Do you know that before the invention of the light bulb, people used gas for lighting at night.Oh and for your information, Thomas Edison was neither the first nor the only person who was trying to invent an incandescent light bulb (the incandescent light bulb refers to an electric lamp in which a filament is heated to incandescence by an electric current. Today's incandescent light bulbs have filaments made of tungsten). Many inventors had tried and failed some were discouraged and went on to invent other devices.
