The Tengu USB Toy does not make any sounds itself though. It is a totally silent and quiet toy. How this USB toy works is that when a Tengu USB powered character is plugged into a USB port and it detects some sounds, it will lip synch according to the sounds that are heard. (If you ask me I think the lip-synching is totally hogwash and that the Tengu is just "turned on" when it hears sound or music. The pixels on the Tengu do not differ according to different sounds.)

Take a look at this cute little Tengu Toy below. The specification of the Tengu usb powered character is as follows: 70mm high, 43mm wide and 14mm deep (the packaging is 168mm x 98mm x 34mm). Within the Tengu USB package there is also a 1m white USB cable to match up with the Tengu. According to the manufacturers, the tengu usb toy works with all types of computers - including those running on Windows, Mac or Linux. As long as the Tengu is connected to a USB port (or even a USB hub), being USB powered, the Tengu will be able to work.

Click here to purchase the Tengu USB Toy

Alternatively, if the product at the above link is sold out, you can also

Click here to purchase the Tengu USB Toy

If you are curious about the word "Tengu", perhaps I can shed some light here. The Tengu USB toy got its name from the Tengu, which is a Japanese term and which refers to supernatural creatures found in Japanese folklore. The Tengu are also known as the "heavenly dogs" or Tiangou, hence "Tengu". They are also well known yōkai or monster-spirits that are sometimes worshipped as revered spirits or gods. The Tengu is known to be mischevious and likes to plays tricks on people. Do not mix him up with the God of Mischief known as Loki, though there may be links between the two that we do not know!

Anyways the Tengu USB toy will not play any tricks on you, or worse give you a scare. If you want to see how the Tengu usb powered character works, you can do a search for "Tengu USB" on youtube. Like I said it does not create any sound, just that it lights up when detecting sound. By the way, the Tengu USB toy is produced by Mr Jones Design Ltd and was designed by Crispin Jones. Initially there were even some wooden usb Tengus too, but these have since sold out. If you are interested to get one, you can check out the links I created below the picture of the Tengu.

Something that might also be of interest to you is that the makers of the Tengu have also released Tengu All Stars, which are basically three usb Tengus with different hair styles (the original tengu is a boring, white and rectangular but these Tengus have hair added on the top). If you ask me I think buying these are a waste of money, so I would propose that you purchase a normal simple tengu usb toy, and then enhance it yourself! Create your own tengu hairstyle or whatever suits your fancy!

If you are interested in the Tengu USB Toy, you might also be interested in the following USB Toys:

iSAW USB Toy

USB Missle Launcher Toy

Pole Dancer USB Toy

Hello Kitty USB Toy

Spiderman Dream Cheeky USB Missile Launcher

Humping Dog USB Toy

Hope that you enjoyed this post on the Tengu USB Toys. This time, once again, I will introduce some unique USB Toys - hand made ones nonetheless, that I discovered while browsing the amazing world of Etsy, where people sell and buy hand made stuff. In one of my previous posts, I have already talked about some hand made USB toys. This included a USB Toy UFO Thumbdrive and even some Wooden USB Toy Thumbdrives.

To give some credit to the creator, his name is Sgedra and I am actually advertising for him free. I have never corresponded with him via email before (and I sure hope to) because so far, his computer usb toys seem to be the most promising.

Sgedra is also a member of Etsy, and there is quite a selection of USB toys on his Etsy page. Today, I will pick some of his usb toys from his usb toy collection and show it to my readers. If you are interested to purchase any of these toys, feel free to visit Sgedra's page.

WALL-E USB Toys

Today I will be focussing on some USB toys which Sgedra created or shall I say hand crafted based on the movie by the name of WALL-E. WALL-E (pronounced Wally) stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class. The movie is about this future robot, with the same name of WALL-E who is a "700 year old, solar powered mobile trash compactor robot". Presumably the last remaining functional robot on Earth, the future of Earth is unhabitable and filled with trash. You can say that WALL-E is left on earth to slowly compact all the trash that is left. Sadly, I really hope that this is not the future of earth. Anyways, mankind is not dead and they are on board a spaceships in space. They are hoping that the WALL-Es left on earth would clean up the planet so that the humans can return back to earth, but unfortunately this failed (and I am not sure why only one WALL-E was left).

WALL-E USB Toy 8GB USB Thumbdrive (US$65)

Now first up the line-up of USB toys is this USB Toy WALL-E USB thumbdrive which is able to store 8GB of data. Also attached to WALL-E is a keychain ring. There are actually many WALL-E toys in the market and this USB WALL-E toy is one of the very few rare WALL-E toys that you cant get anywhere else. Oh and I forgot to tell you that these hand made toys are most of the time one of a kind which means that there may only be one such model in the whole wide world. So if you are a big WALL-E fan and maybe also a tech geek who uses thumb drives a lot for data storage, you might want to purchase a USB toy here, for yourself, or maybe for a friend who loves WALL-E.

Now after you have seen that USB toy WALL-E, hope you would fall in love with it, if not you might want to look for other WALL-E toys or maybe carry on reading this post. So let's go back to the story. WALL-E is not just any robot but a very intelligent one. The makers of the movie are very good and have managed to make WALL-E a robot which is able to show emotions and feelings. Now WALL-E not only collects all sorts of garbage, more of like a rag and bone man, but he also has a television in his home trailer. There was once he was watching a film, and he glanced upon a scene where a man and a woman are holding hands. Suddenly, WALL-E starts to feel something inside him and he learns from this show about the concept of love, and how two life forms can fall in love and conveying their feelings for each other through this simple gesture of holding hands. WALL-E of course hopes that he would be able to experience this someday, being left all alone on this earth.

That faithful day would soon come one day when WALL-E finds a growing seedling plant among some trash. He takes a fancy to it and brings it home. On that very same day, a small spaceship deployed from the human colonies spaceships lands and deploys a feminine robot called EVE. EVE stands for Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator. WALL-E looks at EVE from the side and he has actually fallen in love with her love at first sight. In the beginning, they do not get along, but slowly as the movie progresses, EVE actually takes a liking to WALL-E.

WALL-E and EVE USB Toys 8GB USB Thumbdrive (US$120)

If you look at the picture above, it shows both WALL-E and EVE sold as a USB toys set. WALL-E is the feminine robot in white. Such a usb toy set is good for lovers, the male can hold on to the WALL-E 8GB USB thumbdrive while the female can hold on to the EVE 8GB USB thumbdrive. Both USB thumbdrives also come with a keychain ring.

Anyways, EVE was sent to earth with a mission and that is to scan for signs of plant life and during a dust storm, EVE is brought back to WALL-E home where he shows her his collection. WALL-E also shows her the seedling plant which he had found earlier. This was when something strange happens. EVE stores the plant inside herself, deactivates and shuts down, showing no signs of activity and motion. WALL-E is shocked and tries to revive her. Then suddenly one day small spaceship returns to collect EVE and WALL-E hangs onto the ship as it returns to Axiom, the flagship of the spaceship carrying all the humans who are still alive. Once on the ship, EVE was reactivated. It seemed that once her plant sample was scanned by the ship's holo-detector, it will cause Axiom to return back to Earth so that humanity can recolonize the planet. However, yet another shock awaits as the plant was missing! The Captain deemed EVE to be defective and she is sent for repair.

Subsequently, it was discovered that Auto (the bad guy and autopilot and sort of computer brain behind the flagship) had asked his assistant, GO-4, to take the plant and to destroy it. It was also revealed that there was a final directive that if the cleanup of earth didn't work, the ships would never to return to Earth. The Captain, a good guy, feels that earth should be restored. Auto disagreed and a mutiny was staged. WALL-E was electrically shocked, and sent down a garbage chute to the garbage depot with EVE. WALL-E and EVE were almost jettisoned into space, but luckily one of the other robots by the name of M-O (which stands for Micro Obliterator) helped both EVE and WALL-E escape.

M-O (Micro Obliterator) 8GB USB Thumbdrive (US$59)

The M-O is a cleaning robot who has been cleaning WALL-E's dirty tracks across the ship. That is why it was able to track WALL-E down. The M-O 8 GB USB Thumbdrive is seriously an exact replica of the robot as shown in the movie. Fans of this robot can get this usb toy instead. Furthermore it is really so small in size, yet it holds 8GB of storage space! Simply incredible.

Anyway back to the story and hope you find the story exciting! WALL-E and EVE gathered some other robots to help them after they escaped from the garbage depot. They made their way to the holo-detector, which Auto tried very hard to close, so as to prevent the seedling from being put into it. WALL-E struggled to hold it open but sadly he is crushed inside. Auto was deactivated and EVE finally placed the plant in the holo-detector. WALL-E, badly damaged, was released and the Axiom mothership made its hyperjump to Earth.

Well sounds sad right? But do not fear as when the ship reached earth, EVE used the assortment of odd spare parts found in WALL-E's trailer to repair and recharge him. When he was repaired, yet another sad thing happened. WALL-E's memory, human-like qualities, feelings and personality appeared to have been erased; he was now like any other robot and worked as a normal garbage compactor. Heartbroken, EVE holds onto WALL-E's hand and gives him an electric spark as a kiss. This spark jolts WALL-E into his former self. Hurray! And they both lived happily ever after :)

Hope you like this story! I watched it at the movie theatres. Guess you can't do that now but you can always buy a WALL-E DVD. Oh and hope that you enjoyed my post on WALL-E (and EVE) USB Toys. Well at least for a while. I am not biased in any way and I can assure you that there are many other USB toys out there which are not thumb drives or flash drives or memory sticks that deserve mention.

So far, in my past few posts, I have talked about many interesting usb toy memory sticks. Just in my previous post, I have talked about various handmade computer USB toys in the form of thumb drives, a 1GB light bulb USB drive, and also a 4GB mini cooper USB thumb drive (in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the mini cooper) and now let us go to something simpler, like some USB Toy Robot memory sticks! Next some persuasion? Check out the a picture of these cute little robot USB toy memory sticks below:

Click here to purchase a USB Toy Robot Memory Stick 2GB

Looking at these USB Toy Robots, they only remind me of those vintage toy robots that I see a lot when I was a kid. You know those toy robots that can actually "walk". Sometimes they are battery operated, sometimes they are operated with a spring wound key on its back. No matter the method the robot is powered, the legs will move in a lift forward step motion alternating between the two legs to propel the robot forwards. I'm not sure why but I seem to remember seeing a red toy robot somewhere and most likely I had one when I was a kid! That memory is kind of fuzzy now though.

Anyway, these USB toy robots are so cute that you just have to buy one right? And the thing is they come in so many different colours (but not shapes and sizes though, these USB toy robot memory sticks measures approximately 4 cm by 2 cm by 1 cm and they each have a storage space of 2GB. I guess they rather attach the USB head (the portion where the USB memory stick is plugged into the USB port) to the legs of the USB toy robots instead of the usb toy robot heads, if not everytime you need to access data stored on your memory stick you have to decapitate the usb toy robot! So to access the USB connectors, you can just pull off the robot legs. Don't leave the leg covers off for too long, don't let the usb toy robot feet get cold! Oh and one last thing, these USB toy robot eyes light up when data is being transmitted. Now that is what I call cool and that is what I call a true USB toy!

Ok, this time will be a short post for me. Just one USB toy introduced in this post, that is the 2 GB USB Toy Robot Memory Stick. Click on the link to purchase it now! Oh and people may be getting bored of all my lengthy but I hope not boring posts. So once again till next time for more USB devices including USB memory sticks, tune in to the USB toy blog!

USB Toy Robot 2GB Memory Stick

Handmade Computer USB Toys

Handmade Computer USB Toys

In a special post that I have today for my very special audience, I am writing about some interesting hand made USB Toys that deserve some attention and publicity. Basically, if you ask me it does not seem difficult to make your own computer USB toys, but then you got to have some artistic talent I guess! But not only that, you need specific tools to create such special toys. I do not know how these computer USB toys are made, but I would presume that you first buy a normal USB drive and then you have to slap on some plaster, create the shape or object that you want the toy to be, and then slap on some colour. It sounds real simple but do not try this at home if you are not an expert. Well, I have not actually spoken to any of these people who have created their own computer USB Toys, but if you are one of these guys and you are reading this post right now, do support my site! Oh if you need free advertising you can contact me too! I will put up a blog post on your USB toy free of charge! Of course I hope that you would write to me first :)

Now I am sure many of you have heard of the site by the name of Etsy. That's right, its basically a site where people buy and sell all things hand made. They got loads and loads of cool stuff there, including handmade beads, jewelry, clothes and accessories, toys, woodwork, furniture, dolls, computer stuff and basically almost anything and everything under the sun that can be handmade (or something additional added on to further improve the product). The following USB toys were discovered by me as I was browsing through the amazing world of Etsy. And of course I hope to bring to my fellow readers more variety, hence some of these handmade USB toys might create more ideas for my fellow USB toy supporters for them to consider a USB toy purchase. Oh and some of these computer USB toys have actually been sold. So maybe if you are really really interested to get one of these USB toys, you might want to contact the seller to see if he is willing to make another one. If not, some of these toys for sale may be the one and only one for sale, which means that if you buy one of these USB toys, it may be the only available in the whole wide world (and maybe universe). And with so many people using USB drives these days, it pays to be using a unique and special USB drive. That is the purpose of my site anyway (with other USB toys added into the mix as well) Well anyways, let's jump straight into these USB toys, shall we?

UFO USB Toy 4GB USB Flash Drive by OrigamiMe

Now check out this good looking UFO! You may click here to view the actual sales page from OrigamiMe (he has some other USB thumb drives for sale and currently there are some other wooden carved USB toys). This UFO USB toy is sold out unfortunately (not sure how much it cost). Anyways, this USB toy is described as a USB Toy UFO which is made by basswood and hand carved. Looking at this alien technology I would assume that 4GB is a tee wee small for storage space? Nevertheless, check out the chrome enamel finish that gives the UFO a shiny silvery glow. Now this gives me the idea of other similar UFO flash drives. What about Star Wars mother ships or fighter jets or even the Star Trek USS Enterprise? Well hopefully my site will display such USB toys in the future.

According to the maker, this UFO USB thumbdrive is 5cm in diameter with a height of 3cm. Tiny but packs a punch! It is very light (as light as any normal USB flash drive I guess) and sits well in any usb port (I also presume that the USB drive is USB 2.0 port compatible). Now if you have any tech geek friends or people who believe in area 51, aliens or UFOs, this USB Toy UFO 4GB flash drive makes an excellent gift. Now next time, create some USB flash drives in the shape of alien heads. Now that is an idea! Oh and I forgot to add that no cows were abducted or harmed in the making of this product, and that is based on the assumption that cows were teleported into the UFO by the aliens (hehe).

Ned Kelly and Wooden USB Flash Drives by MikaEle

Now I am also going to talk about another USB drive creator by the name of MikaEle who creates his/her own USB toys. Now using my excellent sleuthing skills, I found out that this artistic usb toy creator is from Australia. And why is that? Because one of his hand made USB toy is a Ned Kelly figurine. Now who is Ned Kelly, you might ask? Now with my even more amazing sleuthing skills, this is what I found!

Ned Kelly 4GB USB Drive at US$88

Edward "Ned" Kelly was an Australian bushranger. Because of his defiance of the colonial authorities, he is also known as a legendary folk hero to many locals. Ned frequently clashed with the police when he was a young chap. In 1878, he murdered three policemen, and was proclaimed by the colony that Ned and his gang were wanted outlaws. A final violent confrontation with the police eventually took place and Ned (who was dressed in home-made plate metal armour and helmet) was captured and sent to jail. Subsequently, he was hanged for murder. His daring and notoriety made him an iconic figure in Australian history, folk lore, literature, art and film. Now he was also known to have committed some major robberies, and worse still took some people as hostages! How a guy like him can become a hero seems pretty perplexing to me! If any Australians are reading this post, maybe you can advice me on this.First let us take a look at this good looking USB toy:

Parden me for saying this, but the USB drive without Ned Kelly's head is a bit like a halloween USB toy to me! Ned was hanged on 11 November 1880 and this doesn't explain why this USB toy does not contain Ned's head. Well if it was death by decapitation, then I would understand but not when its by hanging! Anyways, there was another similar Ned Kelly USB toy for sale that was already sold so this may be the last Ned Kelly USB drive there is so get it now before it is too late!

MikaEle also has other USB toys for sale. Take a look at these hand carved wooden USB toys:

USB Toy Wooden Chameleon 8GB USB Flash Drive US$115

Check out this wooden chameleon usb thumb drive. Instead of having a proper tongue, the USB head is its tongue! Chameleons are known to change their skin colour to blend in and camouflage with their surroundings. Unfortunately, do not think this chameleon can! Anyways, it looks good for a wooden carving and usb toy and furthermore it can store 8GB of data! Now that's what I call a chameleon that packs a big punch. Creator says that this USB toy is made from box tree.

USB Toy Wooden Owl 2GB USB Thumb Drive US$75

If chameleons are not your type of animal, why not get a wooden owl? Though it has less storage space of 2GB, it looks super cool if you ask me. Everyone in the office should get a different animal! Have any owl or chameleon friends? Now is the time to get them a USB toy as a gift.

Hope the above post and information has been useful to you. Tune in next time for more USB toys from the guys who bring you the USB toy blog! For this post, I introduce to you a 1GB Light Bulb USB drive. Yes, it can pack less data, but still it is another very cute and special USB drive. The 1GB Light Bulb USB drive supposedly has at least 10 years of data retention with 1,000,000 times storage and support Mac, Windows ME, 2000, XP and Vista Operating System platforms.

If you are quite a regular fan of my USB Toy blog, you would have realised that other than the many cool USB toys that I have introduced, I am now also doing posts on cool USB drives, one of which was the Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive. With such cool USB drives to purchase, why do you even bother to carry around and use those normal looking, dull and boring USB drives anymore? By spending just a little money to make your thumbdrives look good, you can be a trendsetter. With this 1GB Light Bulb USB drive, that even light bulb inventor Thomas Alva Edison (if you do not know already Thomas Alva Edison invented the electric light bulb in 1879) would approve of, you just have to buy one to amaze your friends. It would serve as a great gift for someone with a bright idea!

One thing which I find is a pity is that this 1GB Light Bulb USB drive does not light up when it is inserted into the USB port. Maybe the makers can think about this suggestion. You should know that without Thomas Edison, there would not have been a light bulb, which has changed our lives greatly by illuminating the night and allowing people to make use of the night time, making it hospitable to a wide range of human activity (as well as making this 1GB Light Bulb USB thumbdrive a reality). Do you know that before the invention of the light bulb, people used gas for lighting at night.Oh and for your information, Thomas Edison was neither the first nor the only person who was trying to invent an incandescent light bulb (the incandescent light bulb refers to an electric lamp in which a filament is heated to incandescence by an electric current. Today's incandescent light bulbs have filaments made of tungsten). Many inventors had tried and failed some were discouraged and went on to invent other devices.

Well, that's that. Show your support for Thomas Edison and his light bulb invention by buying this 1GB USB drive Light Bulb USB Toy instead!

USB Toy: Mini Cooper USB Drive

USB Toy: Mini Cooper USB Drive

If you think that using the iTwin USB Gadget is not the kind of USB storage device or USB drive you are looking for, then maybe you will find this post on the Mini Cooper USB drive interesting for you. Seemingly like a real USB Toy, this Mini Cooper USB drive has rotatable wheels, and illuminating headlights! This happens when the Mini Cooper USB device is plugged into the USB port of a computer, and like all other USB powered toys, the USB port gives the Mini Cooper USB gadget its power and lights up the headlights! Simply fantastic!

Anyways, it is strange that this cool computer USB toy actually originates from Japan. It is this Japanese company known as Green House and this is their latest USB Thumbdrive. This USB device is based on the 1959 British Mini Cooper, which is why I say it is strange that such a design actually came from a Japanese company, since the Mini Cooper actually came from the United Kingdom and is a British car. The Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive is available in two different designs, one with the British flag on the roof of the mini cooper and the other is what I presume to be the 1963 Austin Mini Cooper S. The Mini Cooper USB drive features 4GB of memory. That is really a lot of storage space! To sum up, this Mini Cooper USB drive is the perfect gift for every Mini Cooper's fan!

The below diagram shows the beautiful Mini Cooper USB thumb drive. The Green House website is also included in the link below. This Mini Cooper USB thumbdrive costs ¥10,000 (that is the Japanese Yen for you and in US$ that would be more than US$100 expensive price for a posh nice mini cooper car I believe!)

Photo taken from Green House Japanese Website

Let me provide some background on the Mini Cooper here. The Mini Cooper is actually a style of the Mini, which is a small car produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC). The Mini was later manufactured by BMW. It is in some ways considered the British equivalent to its German contemporary, the Volkswagen Beetle, also another classic car which enjoyed similar popularity in North America. The name Mini did not appear by itself immediately — the first models were marketed under two of BMC's brand names, Austin and Morris. The Minis were then known as the Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor, until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969.

Anyways, the Mini, with its distinctive two-door design was created by Sir Alec Issigonis of BMC. Issigonis had a friend by the name of John Cooper, who was the owner of the Cooper Car Company and a designer and builder of Formula One and rally cars. He felt that Mini had potential for racing competitions. In the end, they both collaborated together to create the Mini Cooper, which was a small nimble, economical and inexpensive car. The Austin Mini Cooper and Morris Mini Cooper debuted in 1961. A more powerful Mini Cooper, dubbed the Mini Cooper "S", was developed and released in 1963. The above Mini Cooper USB drive is actually a commemoration of the Mini Cooper.

And that is a short history of the Mini Cooper, and hopefully it makes you want to own the USB Toy Mini Cooper USB Thumbdrive Device more. Haha ok thats all for now. Tune in next time to USB Toys for yes, you guessed it for more USB Toys!

USB Toy: Mr Burns USB Webcam cum Microphone

A USB Toy that You Should All Get for the Office

In my previous post, I have talked about a unique USB office toy which is actually the iSAW chainsaw usb toy (which is actually a dud since it does not exist). Well for this post, I am going to bring you something even more sinister....

I guess most people out there would actually know who the Simpsons are. The Simpsons is an American animated cartoon television sitcom created by Matt Groening. The series is a parody of a middle class American lifestyle epitomized by the Simpsons family, which consists of Homer (the father), Marge (the mother), Bart (the younger son), Lisa (the eldest sister), and Maggie (the baby). The show is set in the fictional city of Springfield, and most of the episodes are about American culture and society as well as many simple day to day life, growing up etc, the things an American family would go through in America.

Now I guess most people would be interested to buy a usb toy because he is either interested to fix it up in the office or at home (these are the two places where I presume computers would be parked at). Which is very apt for this next USB device that I am showcasing, as it contains one of American televisions' most famous or hated boss. Since the title of this post already contains his name, I guess you would have figured out by now who I am talking about. Yes, his name is Mr Charles Montgomery "Monty" Burns or in short Mr Burns.

Mr. Burns is Springfield's richest and most powerful citizen, and shall I say the very naughty and evil owner of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and also Homer Simpson's boss. I am very surprised that Homer is still able to keep his job at the nuclear power plant despite all the blunders that he has made! Mr Burns also has an assistant or what some people would call a slave dog Mr Waylon Smithers, who acts as his loyal aide, advisor and maybe secret admirer. Mr Burns embodies a number of characteristics about Corporate America. He not only has an unquenchable desire to increase his own wealth and power but also forgets his employees' names very frequency (especially Homer's). Not to forget that he is unconcerned for his employees' safety and well-being, very much like the typical boss or manager.

If you ask me, I think Mr Burns is a very popular character in the show, and interestingly, this USB webcam actually has a Mr Burns character instead of the other Simpsons characters (I have also found a USB desk light that has Homer Simpson in it but this is the only Simpsons USB webcam I see). As I mentioned, this may be because USB toys are usually associated with the office (unless it is to be used at home) and what better character to have on a USB webcam other than your favourite boss! Now that Mr Burns is sitting on your USB webcam, it is time you thought twice before doing something naughty at the office, like taking a lazy nap!

I am not surprised that with the popularity of Simpsons, there would not be a lack of products that actually promote this well loved American family. So that is where my USB toys comes in. I have a feeling that there are many many USB products out there to endorse all the different things that we like. For example, in my past posts, I have not only showcased a Transformers USB Toy Hub, but also a Star Wars USB Toy Hub as well as a Hello Kitty USB Toy. So for this post, it is only fair that I introduce to you the Mr Burns USB Webcam & Microphone from the Simpsons family. I just love USB toys, don't you too? Well, let us first have a look at this USB webcam.

Click here to buy the Mr Burns USB Webcam & Microphone

This USB webcam is pretty cute looking isn't it? I kinda like the stand, it is somewhat like a heart shaped thing but then it is not the legs of the table neither is it the legs of Mr Burns. The table is actually the webcam itself, the lens of the camera comes out in the middle of the table on the front. Mr Burns sits in his red armchair, his hands together in his trademarked "planning his next move" position. It is a pity that this USB webcam does not mutter Mr Burn's trademark expression of the word "Excellent", which is normally uttered slowly in a low and evil tone while he is tenting his fingertips (which what he is doing as shown in the USB webcam).

You may have also noticed that there is a cute small little teddy bear on the table of the USB webcam. There is actually a story to this cute little teddy bear. At a young age, Mr. Burns left his family to live with his grandfather, who is another evil rich man and billionaire (I guess it is this person who corrupted Mr Burns and led him to become who he is today). In "Rosebud", which is the title of the fourth episode of The Simpsons' fifth season, some of Mr Burn's childhood is revealed. The episode begins by showing how on the eve of his birthday, Mr. Burns starts to miss his childhood teddy bear Bobo. The bear ends up in the hands of Maggie Simpson and Burns does everything in his power to get Bobo returned to him. I presume that the teddy bear on the USB webcam is Bobo.

So would you want to have a piece of the Simpsons? This Mr Burns USB Webcam & Microphone is not only a USB webcam but also contains an inbulit microphone as well! It is an ideal gift for a Simpsons fan, or maybe you would like Mr Burns to watch over you in the office (maybe you can even tell your boss that you prefer Mr Burns to him!) At the nuclear plant, Mr Burns spends most of his time in the office, monitoring his workers via closed circuit cameras. Do not ask me if this USB webcam is actually linked to these cameras that he is watching in his office! But then this USB toy is sure cute and nice to have.

Hope that you have enjoyed this post of mine. I will bring you more information on Simpsons USB gadgets in the future. Is there some alien technology involved? The second question you may ask is, why would a computer, PC or laptop need a chainsaw to go with it? Maybe it is to be used as a CD destroyer? Maybe it can be used to murder your pesky colleague or that boss you have always been trying to get rid off. Gasp, I can't imagine and think of the possibilities here. I am trying to set up a human and child friendly website, but for the sake of all my faithful readers, I have to present all the new and latest USB Toys out there right? That said if anybody has any objections, do feel free to email me!

Ok guess I have, once again, digressed too far away from the issue at hand. Now let us talk about this iSAW USB toy again. Maybe it is less suitable to be used as a office toy. Perhaps maybe you were out in your garden and suddenly you decided to trim your plants or your shrubs and this USB Chainsaw would come in handy. Or maybe you are in the tool shed, checking out some handyman tips on the web, and then eureka you wanted to cut up some wood to create a baby cradle. Hows that? Sounds like very good uses for this USB Chainsaw i.SAW Toy if you ask me!

Let me give you the specifications of this baby. The iSAW or i.SAW is USB powered toy (as already mentioned all stuff on my blog are USB powered) and this USB Chainsaw measures no larger than the size of a regular computer keyboard. It has a good specialised proper grip to allow easy and smooth usage to so as to not compromise on safety. Some other features include a safety activation button and also a protective guard.Measuring 15.2 x 5.8 x 5.1 inches (385 x 147 x 130mm) and weighing approximately 8.2 lbs (3.7 kg), this precision i.Saw USB powered chainsaw can cut through different types of wood and has similar capabilities as a full-sized electric chainsaw. The Saw chain (which is included in the package of course) delivers fast cutting speed with good efficiency.

The makers of this USB Toy also claim that the iSAW USB Chainsaw has a rigid body enclosure. We all know that chainsaws are considered as heavy duty equipment. This is due to the materials used to make chainsaws. If such materials are used to make this iSAW USB Chainsaw, then this chainsaw would not be very useful for office use. (Hint hint they are telling us that this chainsaw can be used in the office to "remove some obstacles")If lighter materials are used, the iSAW USB chainsaw may not be very stable when it is being used. Hence the designers decided to use a mixture of tough plastic and lightweight alloy to create the body of the USB chainsaw.

The iSAW USB chainsaw is also USB Toy 2.0 Compatible. Similar to other USB toys, it has zero startup time and an instant plug 'n' play feature (oh do take note not to have the iSAW USB chainsaw switched on when you plug it into the USB socket!). The makers further claim that they have a "patent-pending technology" which allows for an "unparalleled distribution of power." May I also add that this i.SAW USB Chainsaw is the first in its class. It can even work on PC, Mac or any other USB-enabled devices!

After this great introduction, are you interested to buy this USB iSAW Chainsaw toy? Well, hurry down to this website to place an advance order now! (The above details and pictures are also taken from this website) The i.SAW USB chainsaw (really catchy and starting to rhyme now) actually just costs 59.95 (the currency is not stated though but I think it is cheaper than a garden chainsaw!) So hurry on down and get one USB iSAW chainsaw now!

Disclaimer: I really do not know whether this paragraph is supposed to be a disclaimer or not, but would like to tell me readers if you have been reading this blog post of mine diligently, I have to say good work and that this iSAW USB Chainsaw actually does not exist! It is actually a gimmick down by some environmentalists to promote environmental awareness and to save the earth. Actually each of our computers (and maybe printers) are chainsaws as we go about doing our work and also print massive amounts of information. That is essentially cutting down more trees and creating more waste. You can see the relevation which you click on the order button on the webpage. There is a software that creates a chainsaw sound everytime you press Ctrl + P to print documents. Pretty cool eh? Don't say I didnt warn you about this "i.SAW USB Chainsaw" product that it is not really a USB toy! It is also not really a scam but I find it very meaningful.

Download your iSAW USB toy chainsaw application today!

Yet another USB Missle Launcher Toy

Wage War in the Office with this USB Missle Launcher

Remember my previous post on the Spiderman Dream Cheeky USB Missile Launcher? Watch with pleasure as this sexy USB Pole Dancer toy spins around the pole, moving up and down. Oh that is soooo steamy!!! If you are not the type to buy such a usb toy, why not consider the USB Pole Dancer gadget as a gift for the person who always wanted to have their own private dancer but never had the means? Hehe what a joke right? Give it as a gag gift to your best buddy or your worst enemy, telling him since you can't afford a real dancer, why not enjoy a USB pole dancer sitting on your office desk? Or maybe you can give it to a friend in the office, as a gift to somebody for a bachelor's party or a USB gadget crazed guy. (like me of course! well you can just buy one don't need to give the USB toy to me but I won't refuse if you do!) Now if only they had a USB Stripper toy too! (Hint Hint USB toy makers!). Now this USB pole dancer gadget reminds me of another USB toy, the USB Toy Humping Dog! Woohoo I bet it is still humping at the USB port now, on and on and on like the energiser bunny or the titanic! You go you horny dog!

Right sorry, back to the USB gadget Pole Dancer. Now this USB Pole Dancer gadget is powered directly from the USB port of your PC (similar to all the other USB Toys on my site) and will therefore entertain you no matter day or night. Three multi-colored disco lights in the base unit serve to recreate an authentic nightclub atmosphere (and you thought it was just a gyrating Pole Dancer, kudos to the makers who introduced disco lights into this USB gadget!). That is not all. The USB Pole Dancer will perform to a default dance track, or you can even connect your MP3 player or Ipod and she will dance to your favorite tunes, all the while moving to the beat of the song. Now this is a little hard to believe! I guess you just have to buy this Pole Dancer USB Gadget to see if it really can dance to the tune of your favourite hits, but I'm not sure about this one! Tune in next time for more USB Toy products!

USB Gadget: Transformers Optimus Prime Talking Electronic USB Hub

Transformers Optimus Prime Talking USB Gadget!

Now if you didn't think the iTwin USB Gadget was cool, wait till you look at this? Are you a Transformers fan? If so, I have good news for you. Not only do I want to tell you that the latest Transformers movie is going to be released soon (it is titled Revenge of the Fallen I think), but also I have found this cute nice little looking Transformers USB Gadget: a Transformers Optimus Prime Talking Electronic USB Hub! So if you need a USB hub, and you are a Transformers fan, so why not get this Transformers Optimus Prime Talking Electronic USB Hub? I mean if you are looking for a USB hub anyway, why not spend a few more dollars to get a USB hub that is not only cool, but speaks Transformers lingo? Best of all, its not just any Transformers, but its the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime himself! Now, I just wish they release a talking Starscream USB Toy, but I guess that is another story! Take a look at this pretty USB hub:

Now let me just go through some details of this USB Gadget. The USB hub is actually 9 inches tall and as you can see the USB hub is actually the head of Optimus Prime (obviously the USB gadget is not made to scale, the head of Optimus Prime is definitely not just 9 inches tall! Now the amazing thing about this USB gadget is that it can talk! Yes I shall say again the USB Hub talks! The head of Optimus Prime actually speaks the following phrases:

"Autobots, transform and roll out!"

"This is Optimus Prime. Do you read me?"

"It's time to stomp some Decepticons!"

Well, I wish they can programme more words like some other toy but I digress. In addition, Optimus Prime's eyes lights up as he speaks! I have mentioned that this USB hub allows you to connect 4 other USB devices by providing four extra USB ports. And so Optimus will speak if you connect any other USB Toy Gadgets or USB memory sticks into the hub, and the ights in his eyes will be automatically activated. An on/off switch is also included so the sound doesn't have to go off. I bet you will never guess what this baby can be used for. Take a look at this USB toy gadget:

Guess what this USB gadget toy is used for:

(a) A cool new USB flash drive that allows you to connect either head to a USB port (what am I talking here?)

(b) Just like Darth Maul has a dual blade light saber in Star Wars, this USB flash drive is for people who wish to join the Dark Side...

(c) This USB Toy gadget acts as a USB Missile Launcher, when you insert one end into the USB port, the other "twin"shoots out like a USB Missle!

So which did you choose? If you are the smart reader whom I think you are (if you are using my site to buy USB Toys I can already conclude you are a SMART BUYER), you would have told me that the answer is neither (a), (b) or (c).

Let me tell you what this ingenious USB Gadget is. The iTwin USB Toy (ok it is not really a USB Toy and should be called a USB gadget toy or USB toy gadget??!!) is actually a mated pair of USB Gadgets that allow two computers anywhere in the world (I repeat anywhere in the world!) to share data when when the devices are plugged in. How it works is that when you connect one half of the USB gadget toy into a computer USB port, a folder would pop up on the desktop. This is the shared folder that is found on the computer (not on the USB toy!). Say you then go to a cybercafe and you wish to work from there. Just plug in the other end of the iTwin USB toy gadget (both halves of the USB gadget can be separated and detachable) into the computer USB port there and the shared folder appears on the desktop of the computer magically! Plug out the USB gadget toy from the USB port and the folder would disappear. The catch is both computers must be turned on (this is of course) and also connected to the internet. What you have got is a USB flash drive / USB stick that has an almost infinite amount of storage (as much as either one of the computers' hard disk can carry if you plan to use it as the storage device). At any one time, you can disconnect one of the USB gadgets and take it with you to stay productive while on the move!

This USB gadget toy is aimed at individual users and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). It is a truly plug and play USB gadget, no passwords, log-in webpage, authentication or configuration are needed because a unique 256-bit advanced encryption standard (AES) crypto encryption key ensures that the data is transferred in a secure fashion! It is just like a USB cable connecting 2 computers and allowing them to transfer data to each other, just that the cable in this case is the internet! If you lose one of the paired devices, you can use a phone text message service to an assigned server to deactivate the USB gadgets.

The prototype of this one of a kind USB Toy Gadget was unveiled at the Consumer Electronic Show at Las Vegas in January this year and has attracted dozens of interested potential buyers who like its convenience. iTwin is actually the brainchild of 2 Singapore engineers, Lux Anantharaman and Kal Takru, who hail from the Singaporean research agency A*Star. Kudos to these two USB gadget engineers who have yet created more uses for the USB port! Well it seems that they are looking for some start-up funding of about $1.5 million to bring their idea to a bigger stage. Hope they make more USB Toys / USB Gadgets for me to sell! And guess what? This USB Gadget is likely to cost US$40 to US$50 per pair and hopefully mass production will start by the end of this year. Well if you are a rich businessman and you are reading this, perhaps you can give the USB Gadgets or Toys industry a leg up!

Stay tuned and bookmark this website as I will bring you the latest updates! More details and picture above is taken from the iTwin website.

Cool USB Toy: Interactive USB IZMO Hello Kitty USB Toy

Hello there folks and Hello to Kitty! Now this is an amazingly cool toy because this Hello Kitty toy actually will respond to your keystrokes with mechanical movements! The Hello Kitty USB Toy is an animated interactive USB powered figure that can light up her magical wand, turn her head, wave her arm and even gives off enchanting and magical sounds! Let's take a look at what this USB Toy looks like and some of her other features:

Comes with random functions and sounds mode (this is when you are not typing)

Easy-to-install software is included for the personal computer. Hook her up to your computer via the USB cable provided and all you need to do is install the included software and then watch her respond to your typing! If you buy the Dream Cheeky Spiderman USB Missile Launcher Toy you can even ask Spiderman to shoot some missles at Hello Kitty! USB Toy fight! (Ok just kidding, either the Hello Kitty fans are going to kill me now or WWF will cage me up :P). Why not view a video of this USB Toy in action? Hmmm it is a bit noisy but maybe because my speakers are too loud!

I do have a special deal for my fans today. I have noticed that the Hello Kitty IZMO USB Toy from Onsale.com is priced at US$18.99 while the Hello Kitty IZMO USB Toy from Amazon.com is priced at US$22.95! If you don't believe me do please check the links and compare the prices for both Hello Kitty USB Toys (prices stated are at time of post). Anyway, I am just informing you that I will always bring the best value to my site visitors. I have promoted several amazon products in the past, but that is because I didn't find any cheaper alternatives. Nevertheless, amazon offers a very wide variety of goods and toys and if you are buying many different toys or in bulk it would be more cost effective to buy from them as final shipping cost may be lower. Anyway following the style for my cheap toys for kids blog, I like to bring value and savings to my readers. So these USB Toys shown in my website are definitely good buys! So feel safe to buy the products that I promote here.

That's the end of my post. Sob sob! Till next time.....Oh forget to tell all those Hello Kitty fans, if you are ever in Taiwan, do pay a visit to the Hello Kitty Hotel! You won't regret it!

USB Toy 2.0: Spiderman Dream Cheeky USB Missle Launcher Toy

If you are not a Star Wars USB Toy fan, never fear because here at USB Toys you have found the greatest selection of USB Toys Gadgets! This link bring you to a stand alone package for just the eye toy USB camera, so if you are interested to know which Playstation 2 games this eye toy USB camera can be used for, please stay tuned to this website!

So what is this Eye Toy USB Camera? The Eye Toy USB Camera is an accessory of the PlayStation 2, a widely popular platform for playing video games. The Eye Toy USB camera employs motion-tracking and sensing technology to capture the gamer's body movement. This movement and the image of the player is transmitted into the game itself and allows the player to interact with the game using motion, color detection and also sound, through its built-in microphone. Sounds complicated? Apologies if I am not good at explaining! Anway this is the first game device which allows direct interface with a computer entertainment system! I have heard people who have used the Eye Toy USB Camera as a USB web cam or even a camera! They have done this through the use of an unofficial eye toy USB camera driver.

Just a bit of history here about the Eye Toy USB Camera. The Eye Toy USB Camera was originally devised by Dr. Richard Marks, who had the idea of connecting a web camera to a PlayStation 2 and using it as a peripheral to play video games. Since its launch in July 2003, EyeToy has received a number of awards and public recognition for its outstanding innovation in the console game field and has sold millions of units worldwide. The first batch of Eye Toy USB Cameras in 2003 were manufactured by Logitech, hence there are still many Logitech Eye Toy USB Cameras around. NamTai Electronics or NamTai won a new order from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to build the new silver Eye Toy USB Camera model, better known as the Eye Toy 2, for the new Satin Silver PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system in 2005. The design of the new Eye Toy USB Camera inherits the basic functions of the previous Eye Toy USB Camera, but was smaller in size and more lightweight.

This is how the boxshot of this fantastic USB Toy look like:

Click here to purchase the PlayStation 2 Eye Toy USB Camera

Now unfortunately, my site is only about USB Toys and the aim of my site is to display all the different USB Toys out there in the market. I know this toy is pretty much useless but I think there is great entertainment value involved! Ever wanted to find a gift for a friend but you just have no idea what to give? Especially he's one of those jokers that you just want to give a joke gift...and these days its so common for anybody to own a computer and laptop and with these devices comes the USB port...AH HA! Guess what I propose you can buy as a gift? Take a look at this cute little innocent beagle here...looks nice with the USB port on it doesn't it?

Click here to purchase the USB Toy Moving Beagle

Well don't be fooled by the appearance of this USB Toy Dog! In fact, this USB Toy is a USB Toy Humping Beagle, and like all other USB toys and gadgets just plug it into your USB port and it works! No batteries needed. Now the trick is that I mentioned this is a moving dog, so what it does is that like an action figure it keeps on keeps on peddling on the USB port. You go USB doggy! Great stamina and atta boy! The only motorised parts are the legs and while you can just rotate the arms at an angle. The moving action comes from the hind legs and you can see the tail wag as well, it is just so cute! If you think USB toys are boring, think again! There are reviews that this USB toy seems to be very fragile and breaks down easily so buy at your own risk! I hope it doesnt corrupt your computer data as well but I am just joking. Check out this video here, to see the cool moving dog in action! The later part of the video is quite repetitive though...

Interested to own a USB Toy dog that just keeps on moving? Pretty amazing isn't it that the small USB port can actually be used to power toys! What exactly is USB you may ask? USB stands for Universal Serial Bus and these days every single computer or laptop would come equipped with one of those. Such USB ports allow you to attach anything from mice to toys (yay!) to your computer quickly and easily, allowing power to be transferred to the device from the USB itself.

USB is plug and play (the operating system is usually able to install the device drivers quickly and easily). Compared to the older ways of connecting devices to your computer USB devices are incredibly simple! Kudos to those USB people!

So how come the USB system is so flexible and how is it able to support so many devices including USB toys? I will explain more about this in my future posts. From what I found out, the USB currently allows a person to connect up to 127 devices to a computer. Just about every peripheral made now comes in a USB version.

USB Toys Privacy Policy

USB Toys Privacy Policy Updated as at 15 May 09

My USB Toys Blog uses 3rd-party advert companies to serve ads when you have searched for USB Toys online and fortunately for me landed on my website.
